Meet Your Trainer
Jeri Hirvela
Jeri grew up in a family of dog and horse trainers, with dogs of all sizes and personalities. She has a soft spot for pets who are “written off” because of behavior challenges. She completed her CCDT certification through CATCH Canine Trainers Academy and soon after became a Fear Free Certified Trainer.
Jeri is committed to helping people develop relationships with their dogs that don’t require fear or intimidation based training techniques. She keeps the training process fun and engaging for dogs and their humans.
Betty White is Jeri’s beloved companion and inspiration for White Woof Walks.
Breed: American Eskimo, Chihuahua, Russell-Type Terrier.
Born: May 2017.
Likes: Mama snuggles, snoozing, bones, cheese, anything pork, puzzle toys, tricks, training time, walkies, doing Parkour off the furniture.
Dislikes: Intruders, dry food, loud noises, sudden movement.
Biggest challenge: Barking at intruders!
Certifications and Affiliations
Jeri is an excellent trainer who loves dogs and dogs love her. She helped us learn techniques to control Charlie's pulling, barking, and jumping at dogs and people when walking.

Jeri is a patient, persistent, and phenomenal trainer and dog walker. She has helped our dog, Shelby, go from unable to walk our neighborhood to, at times, the most well-trained dog on the street!
Garrett + Shelby
Jeri's skilled and patient training helped Jamie (and us) to manage his fear of going to the vet. Now, we’re able to get Jamie to the vet without incident. Plus, he’s just a fool for her! (As are we.)
